How to use OSBot [A Full Guide]

OSBot

OSBot is one of the four major botting clients open right now other than Powerbot, Tribot, Dreambot, and now the new RSPeer. OSBot promises the most secure botting environment as they use advanced encryption methods to bypass Jagex’s client based bot detection software. Although most botting clients these days make claims that they most likely can not live up to, OSBot has one of the most active userbases out of all the botting clients so there must be some merit to their claims.

A botting client is a program that lets your computer automatically play OSRS for you. You can set up your client to run a series of tasks over and over again gaining you exp or gold in the process. The tasks that you tell your client to do is encapsulated within a mini-program called a script. These scripts are the manual your botting client uses to tell your character what to do in game!

Installing OSBot

Installing OSBot, or any other Runescape botting client in general, is a very easy task. The first thing you need to do is visit https://osbot.org/ and click on the “Download Now” hyperlink that is located on their index page.

Download Link

Once your file has completely downloaded, move your file to a location of your choice and double click the .jar file to open it. If for some reason the file doesn’t open when you double click it this may mean that you do not have Java installed on your computer. You can find a good tutorial on how to download Java here .

Once you have double clicked the file a window that looks like this will open.

If you see this on your screen you have successfully installed OSBot. You can now exit out of this screen and continue to the next part of this tutorial.

Adding Scripts To Your Account

As we previously stated, scripts are an integral part of the OSRS botting process. To add some scripts to your client you must navigate to OSBot’s script repository. Once you are here you can choose a category of the script using the left sidebar, and browse the scripts within that category. Once you find a script you like, click on the blue “Add” button to add them to your client.

Final Thoughts
